Krishna (Vikram), who is just five years old at heart, works at an Ooty chocolate factory. His wife died while giving birth to a girl. Nila (Sara), the young girl, is raised by Krishna in his own way. He lavishes her with all of his affection. However, fortune makes a swift turn. Rajendran, Nila’s grandfather, who is a prominent and influential member of society, appears on the scene (Sachin Khedkar).
He takes the girl away from Krishna out of concern that she won’t be secure with a mentally impaired father. He leaves the infant in the hands of his other daughter Shwetha (Amala Paul). To retrieve his daughter, Krishna runs from pillar to post.
