When a heroin deal between two dealers goes bad, one, David, inadvertently shoots the other while attempting to flee. David then sees Vijay Salgaonkar emerge from the police station that is still under construction after having hidden something.
Seven years later, Vijay is still happy with his family, owns a theatre in addition to his cable company, and has ambitions to make his own movie. Mahesh Deshmukh visits Vijay and requests to speak with his son’s remains but becomes upset. Meera Deshmukh is still holding out for proof and hasn’t forgiven Vijay.
